The Red Crescent and Agthia Group are implementing the Ramadan tents project in the Northern Emirates to support needy groups during the month of Ramadan.
In relation to the 2017 year of giving initiative and supporting the Humanitarian Work which was launched by the Red Crescent during the holy month of Ramadan, Agthia group collaborates with the Red Crescent to launch “the Iftar tent”.
Agthia Group supports the initiative by providing bottles of drinking water and sponsoring two Iftar tents in the Emirate of Ajman and Fujairah.
Deputy General Secretary for Support Services, Mohammed Yousuf Al Fahim, said that the Authority is implementing many humanitarian and charitable projects during the holy month of Ramadan. The Ramadan Tent is one of the most important Ramadan projects implemented by the Commission in all the cities of the country through its ten branches, and in many countries of the world.
This initiative happened after a meeting between Mohammed Yousuf Al Fahim and Eng. Tariq Ahmed Al Wahedi, Acting CEO of Agthia Group at the Red Crescent headquarters in Abu Dhabi. Agthia is an active participant in the humanitarian efforts that the Commission aims to achieve with the Red Crescent partners. Within the activation of the joint social responsibility initiative, the aim is to support needy and underprivileged groups at the local level and provide their living needs in cooperation with the Public sector and private companies.
